Okey, it all depends on which side of the adventure:touring spectrum you come down on. The Kawi is the better go anywhere bike because it will literally go anywhere. But it's an old, old design with an outdated power plant that has was mariginally updated in 2008. The Uly is too heavy to be really useful off road but it can do occasional service on rough, unpaved surfaces and go like hell on paved backroads. The Uly comes standard with touring baggage and little features that cost extra or are non-existant on most other bikes. And did I mention it goes like hell?
