IAT sensor

May be old news to some... I needed to change my Firebolt's IAT sensor. You can get it from ASB, but after doing some searching, I found a post either on this site or some other that said that NAPA TS54039 fits. The local NAPA dealer here only had a NAPA Proformer TS4039SB. It fit perfectly though. Some posts were saying that certain Ford models fit and some models needed something trimmed. ASB has it for about 12.95 or so... I paid 19 something for the TS4039SB at NAPA but I had it immediately.

Good info!! I run a FORD IAT on mine... I removed the factory and lost it so Red93Stang send me one pulled from a ford at work and it works fine. I did need to trim a stop off of it and it plugged right in. Not sure what car he pulled it off of but I know my old 96 V8 explorer had the same IAT....
