Bike runs great. 2006 XB12X Uly. Purchased this bike 10-months ago with very low mileage and in excellent condition. Added The Original Drummer, EBR ECM, and K&N Filter. Everything done by the book, TPS reset at Harley Shop. Had issues with overheating and decel backpopping. Turned out to be the ECM, returned that to EBR and they admitted on the test bike leaned out and fixed it. 1-annoying issue is coming off throttle the idle hangs at 1,700 rpm for about 1-2 seconds before steadying out at approximately 1,100 rpm. I've read this is due to a heavy flywheel, idle set too high or TPS issue. Cables seem adjusted correctly with a little slack and realize cables being so old may be a issue. Has anybody else experienced this and remedied this issue? I did lower my idle approximately 50-75 rpm and is somewhat better but still occurs. Help, anybody?

Possibly leaking intake seals, those are commonly know to cause a hanging idle. Also make sure your ground wires for the ECM and electronics are clean and tight and you can add an extra ground wire from the negative battery cable to the ground point to keep the electronics more stable

I have that problem after TPS resets. After the last TPS reset I carried a screwdriver with a hex bit on it for a few days to adjust the idle and find the "sweet" spot. My '07 Uly is very sensitive to what the idle is set to, it likes about 1000 RPM at operating temperature. If set the idle a bit higher it will "hang" when I stop at lights etc.

my 2007 Uly precisely the same. have idle at 950 rpm and only drawback is must add a bit of throttle at initial cold start for steady idle. but this did the trick on my uly as djohnk mentioned.
