Making a gigantic error in the winter i sold my last xb12s to Paul. I thought i was done riding buells. I rode many bikes during and after my buell ownership amd this morning i am extremely ecstatic to say......

I was trying to like an aprilia shiver, it didn't handle worth a crappie next to the xb. I was looking to swap for a 1125 but sold it and bought the city x for a good price.

Welcome back! Great bike...great color! Interesting to hear you say that about the Shiver. I briefly considered looking into one, but never actually tried it out. How would you compare it to the XB?

The shiver was good, similar power, felt less torquey. It handled very similar to a ducati monster. The fit and finish was great, it was super comfy for longer rides. I just wasnt happy with it...guess im comparing it too much to the xb which was always a favorite. I also put mivv exhaust on it and tuned the ecm.

Thanks for the info, Shaun. If I were to go for an Aprilia, it would probably be the Tuono...the V4 engine is supposed to be pretty phenomenal. That said...if I wanted that powerful of a bike, I'd probably just pick up an EBR for way cheaper and enjoy a garage full of Buells.

Hahaha, we don't even have to get our bikes inspected! If you run from the cops they won't even chase you, my best friend is a cop. He says they run on him all the time and they just let em go.
