Long story short, had a 04 xb12s. Loved the bike was forced to sell due to ex. Well i found another after years of being without, that was in needed saved from certain abuse. This weekend i was going threw her giving her some love and found this random wire. I'm sure you guys know what it is. Thanks in advanced

That is the cable that goes to the stock muffler interactive exhaust valve. Looks likes have a D&D pipe.
