I'm dumb, dropped my bike today

Yep, been there, done that and got the T-shirt to prove it :) Lately I dropped the XB the first day I had it, as I was unloading from the back of my truck, by myself (no one else around). It was a black 5:00 AM and raining and just as I got the back wheel near to the bottom of the ramp it staterd to slide, despite the front brake being full on. Managed to slow the bike a little as I stepped/fell off the ramp. Broke the left rider footpeg, no scatches, dings or other damage. Put my back out though.

When you're 6'2" and 210 you have a chance of holding it up, when you're 5'10" 175, not so much…

Hope your wrist heals well and soon, bad time to be unable to ride and take advantage of the nice weather.

A little update: my wrist feels ok, still hurts but only doing certain motions, like turning a door knob. My levers are on there way from hong kong(should be here in 2 or 3 weeks) and my my pegs are being shipped to me by grand rapids harley davidson( should be here tomorrow or Wednesday). Weather is kind of shitty here and probably will be for a couple more days so I'm not really missing much riding

I laid mine down in the shop! Rode onto the dolley I keep it on, the dolley broke loose and rolled....as did me and the bike. LOL. I must have looked ridiculous hobbling with the damn thing until the dolley finally rolled into a bench and stopped. However, by that time the center of balance was off too much and I gentle laid it over. Broken footpeg, scraped up leg and pinched the skin off the tip of my ring finger between the brake and grip. Ugly. Two days later peg was replaced and I was riding "Like it never happened". But, alas, it does happen. :)
