It wont stay white for long especially since winter is here. Im gonna go with a satin black and gloss red highlights.

I kind of like the white, would look better with white wheels. but black will also look good.

ditch that swingarm sticker.

Everyone does satin black, and most of them look bad. Satin smudges and is hard to maintain. Plus painting white plastics is a sin. They are already too hard to come by. I say keep it white

^what Dave said I'd just clean it up nice do gold rims maybe. Something that hasn't already been done . Or if you like red go white n red like Dave!

Please keep it white. It's rare... Powdercoat wheels blue and add some more red/blue accents and by that pay a tribute to that flag hanging from your garage...;)[up]

You have to trade off the white and paint a different color.. Please don't sacrifice A white air box.

Are they really that rare? Only on 03 Rs I guess...

I like the idea of red n blue. Ill have to figure out something to do with the frame though. Im pretty sick of the silver.

Looks good as is Dusty. Im jelly because I wanted that setup but was told you we first in line. Now Im going from a Yellow Bolt to a Black Lightning insted.

Freak it was either this or do what you're doing. It was honestly a tough decision cause o wasn't sure if id miss what little wind protection I already don't have. Squids a good guy though. Enjoy it man!

Are you from around here too? (Nor Cal)

White with blue is sick!!White with orange would be really cool!! I would like to get an SS swing arm. I love your new look. Think about this in the middle of the hot ass summer these white bikes stay way cooler then black. Your bike is looking good.

I would leave the rails white, but paint the lower half of the chopped tail black to match the under tray. Bike looks awesome!

Here is a example,

burgurboy's bike before he changed the color.

Nah Dusty.....Im in North east Texas. Wish I was in Cali sometimes.....the coastal hwy looks awsome.

Oh9bolt I've been thinking about doing that I've hot a can of black sitting around somewhere. Do you know how he mounted his signals? I was thinking about mounting them on the bottom corners of the pan, pretty much in between the passenger peg mounts. I also like how he cut out a spot for the tag light. Is the tail pretty easy to drill or cut through?

Bright, the air box has orange letter and I painted my windshield orange to match the orange and blue from the old plastics but I honestly don't like it much. I do like the white I was just trying to think of something that someone hasn't done yet.

Squid, if I go black im going all out including the frame swing arm triple trees forks ect ect ect. I just really like contrast (i.e. satin black with gloss red)

Here's my vote for keeping the plastics white - changing the other stuff to something no one else has.

What is the recommended way for removing the reflectors?

There's too many white n red or blue already. Don't get me wrong it looks good and blue is one of my favorite colours I just want something that hasn't been done a million and a half times.

The tray that holds the battery or the black plastic undertail is very easy to drill through you actually have to be careful because it will only take a second or two and you will be poking your electrics with a drill bit.
