My current Buell XB12ss
Some type of Harley bagger
KTM Super Duke
1190rs
Customized Exile Bullfigher
Maybe a Confederate Bike
Triumph Speed Triple
Vrod Muscle
KTM 250 2stroke
KTM 450 supermoto
KTM set up with for trail riding with a massive tank

Dodge Tomahawk (This would be AWESOME)

Once I clear some little bills out,I plan to find all the types of bikes I owned before my Buell,1971 Yamaha 200cs3,1978 Suzuki gs550,1984 honda nighthawk 700sc.

Interesting responses so far! I think some of us may be showing our...levels of experience :D

I'd not thought about the Ariel. Or the Britten. I saw one of those at the Charlotte AMA round a buncha years ago, and again at the Barber museum. Amazing work. Somebody mentioned the Ducati 748R. I always wanted one of those, more than the 916/996. The bike's a rack to ride, but gorgeous.

Keep 'em coming!

The 1190
An old Indian Chief.
A bike build out with a jet engine attached.
A Ducati 1098.
A Multistrada recent vintage.
A 1200 GSA.
Confederate R131 Fighter.
Probably many more, even a Hodaka Super Rat restored.

BR

Yacouba Galle
Rc8
1098s
Hellcat
The unreleased EBR lightning
Big Dog Pitbull
Aprilla RSV4
Y2k
" Cup Edition " color of speed 1125 CR

I might be persuaded to swap the 1098 for the 1190RS Carbon. Both pure sex, and the 1190 certainly has exclusivity going for it even if it wasn't "in the family," so to speak. But this is the infinite garage, so...

Now, if there ends up being an EBR Lightning...

That's the though one...

Not in particular order:

+ Ducati Streetfighter S
+ Ducati 1199 Panigale
+ HD VRod Muscle
+ Buell XB Lightning (my current bike)
+ EBR1190RS Carbon
+ Custom Busa Turbo + Stretch
+ PJD Universal Insurance Bike#1
+ Exile Trike
+ Can Am Spyder RT-S

I would go nuts if 'd see all of them in my garage. I probably forgot about few but that list is complete for now.

EBR 1190RS
Aprillia RSV4
BMW S1000RR
Ducati Panigale
KTM RC8
MV Agusta F3
MV Agusta F4RR
Ducati Sport 1000
Triumph Tiger Explorer
triumph thruxton
Honda RC51
Ducati 1098
BMW K1200S

One of everything please. :D

+Buell 1190RS carbon- I would probably give up all of the others on this list for this one bike.
+Hayabusa- already got this one covered. :D
+GSXR1000
+oldschool oil-cooled GSXR750 or 1100.
+modern GSXR750
+Suzuki M109R
+Honda VFR800
+Honda CB750
+Kawasaki ZX10R
+2012 Kawasaki ZX14R- it's ugly as sin but WHAT AN ENGINE!
+Kawasaki KZ400- for sentimental reasons.
+Roadstar Warrior
+Yamaha Raider
+Yamaha FJ1300 (for Loooonnng rides)
+Yamaha V-Max 1 new and 1 old one please.
+Ducati Monster 1100
+Victory Cross Roads
+Victory Hard Ball
+Victory Vegas

I'm sure I'm forgetting about 100 others. No Harleys though; I could live without another one of those.

Bringing back up an old thread from this time of year. Crappy weather will do that.

I'm going to do my list, and then see how it compares to what I said before.

In no particular order, if space and money were no object:

My 2007 XBSs back
Either my '12 R1200GS (which was on my list before :) ) or the new liquid cooled GS
The 1190RS (fuggetabout Ducatis) (Well, that Tricolore is still sex)
OR
The '13 BMW S1000RR HP4
The Pikes Peak Multistrada fell off the list due to the issues it has.
2012 BMW R1200RT Police edition, but with passenger accommodations
I'd keep the Triumph Daytona 675 I'm currently selling
Honda RC30
Honda VFR400
Two Aprilia Tuonos, the 60° V-twin and the V-4 versions, so I could decide which to keep.
1st Generation SV650S (I actually passed Kevin Schwantz on one of those...he was being polite to someone else and I went around 'em both)

And I'd take back a few that I"ve gotten rid of in the past: '98 VFR800, '88 K100RS, '99.5 Aprilia Mille. Right now my inclination toward Airhead BMWs is dormant.

So, what's everybody else thinking?

Buell XB9SX
Buell XB12R
Buell 1125CR

KTM Super Duke
BMW S1000RR HP4
HD Dyna Wide Glide
HD Screamin' Eagle Road Glide

EBR 1190RS
Screamin Eagle Vrod
Sportster based chopper with wide tire conversion and raked front built by me

and I'd probably add a Superhawk or RC51 in there too but those other 3 are definite, and of course still have my XB9R, but most likely the motor would have the big bore kit, upgraded cams and cylinder heads and possibly some boost

EBR 1190RS
S1000rr hp4
the new 1290 super duke
1 of every Harley ever made all fully restored
cafe'd triumph
xb12x/s/r
KTM 525sm

Then for the fun section I would have a:
Honda goldwing, zx14, hayabusa, and a bunch of liter bikes/600s
I would remove all the rev limiters from these and drive each of them until the motor literally detonated. Then I would either attach them to my boat as anchors or leave them in a heap on the side of the road, because that's what I think of them.

I don't know if I posted it earlier (too lazy to look) but I'm sort of surprised how many riders include HDs in their "infinite garage." I say that because of the huge difference in aesthetic and riding style between Buell and HD, as well as the possibility of lingering hard feelings over the shutdown/selloff.

- Any new Erik Buell bike
- XB9SX
- Ducati 848
- Road King
- Victory Vegas 8 Ball
- Soft Tail Night Train

I'm not much for custom choppers, not so much the bikes (They look bada$$) but I'm not a fan of the chop part.

Well as a Buell and Harley owner I stil don't hate Harley and plan to buy another one someday. To me what happened is a good thing for Erik Buell since he can really pursue building bikes HE wants to build, and now they won't have the Harley name attached for people to talk trash about.

Harleys are extremely well built bikes and are perfect for comfortably riding longer distances and around town in traffic, so I can't hate them for what they are and I would never buy any other brand of cruiser. When I see people going "ermagherd imma buy a victory next time" more power to them. Victorys feel like plasticy crap and pretty much every cruiser out there WANTS to be a Harley.

It boils down to where guys got into Buell from I think. Some guys got into it from inline 4 sport bikes and some got into it from seeing them at the Harley dealer. So that being said you can kind of see why some people will still remain loyal to Harley Davidson, especially the older crowd who want to ride in comfort sometimes.

[up] to you Semperfi.
You made a great explanation of why a lot of us are riding Buells..... and Harley's.
My first street bike was a LowRider because , with my short crotch, I could reach the ground.and it gave me a decent ride both touring and around town.
When the Buells showed up at the H.D. dealers, I started looking at them and thought they'd be fun bike to sport around on.(are they ever!!), AND on the scg model, I could comfortably reach the ground.
I think the only two I'd add to go with my Road King and XB12SCG would be

F700GS BMW
Zero S

Thanks Semperfi.

I thought of one I'd left off, courtesy of thrstrmech's post:

The departed, and to some degree unloved: Honda Superhawk (VTR1000).

I still hate that Honda abandoned their sporting V-twin line. Of course at this point, I have no love for anything current of Honda's. :(
