Im wanting to put the XB windscreen and dual headlight assembly on my CR. EBR informed me that the fork widths are somewhat different between the two bikes. Ive seen pics where folks have done this mod. Can anybody tell me what they had to do to make this happen, like what I need to order and what needs to be fabricated? TIA!

which xb windscreen? You'll just need to swap the top triple, it will fit on the 1125 forks.

The lower triple will need to be the 43mm if you switch the lower.

I gotta say, I REALLY like the way this looks.

^^^^This looks amazing! sorry to hijack but is it possible to attach the shrouds/vents from a cr to a lightning???

^^^ i am ok with that look, buuuut... I think an olive drab paint job with some white stenciling and hazard markings would make that badass! Think a10 warthog.

Here is a half assed version. I woke up early and was super motivated, then got tired and rushed the rims and e'rthing else. None the less, this would be b.a.

That does look pretty cool. I always wanted to do one like the old P-51's. With the shark mouth on the "lobster claws" and a flat silver aircraft look. Maybe a Red or yellow wheel setup or a combo of both. Like a red up front and a yellow in the rear or switched. I hope I'm not rambling. I just think that would look pretty awesome.

Oooo, good call! I saw a bell helmet once like that and proceeded to drool like homer at a donut factory.

I used the original lines but swapped out the engine. Forgive the different medium but it was easier to manipulate than photoshop. Imma add some color later, but it looks good.
