Instagram

I noticed that the website (Buellxb.com) has a Facebook account but does not have an Instagram. There are a lot of people on here with an account so why not make one? We all check Instagram as much as our own email so why not? I have no problem making the profile and running it for the moderators. I have the free time to do it and figured I would ask for permission before just doing it and having a bunch of people super mad at me.

Just to clarify though. I'm not looking to be a moderator just help promote the website and Buell enthusiasts under the BuellXB name. If this sounds like an ok idea I can even give the moderators the passwords so they can have some control over the whole shabang.

I like the idea of having a buell-centric place to post pictures. Its nice we have the hash tag and the Facebook page but its always a good idea to spread our brand and have places for enthusiasts to gather and show off our bikes and passion.

I made my own Instagram for evryone (not under this websites name). Look forTheBuellXB

I'll go through what people have posted on the forum of their bike and throw it up on Instagram and follow them.

What I am going to do is go through everyone's pictures and put them up and put their user name on the forum in it. If I have the instagram user name ill tag them in it. It should work pretty well.

I don't know how the actual account will help other than a single point of picture posting (also a bottle neck). The benefit of the hashtag is that it brings back other images tagged the same regardless of who is posting the image.

The point of it is just to be something fun for the members. And so you don't have to scroll through thread upon thread to look for that picture you saw a while back for example. While some people are perfectly fine with that I figured I have the free time to do something like this for everyone who doesn't want to. I mean its not like they have to do any work other than find the profile @TheBuellXB and select the follow option.
