Feels like Christmas morning in June. My new CF Jardine arrived this morning. Now All I need to do is find a way to sneak from work early to get it installed.....woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tks...me too. I think I'll remove the Jardine sticker from the can to keep my blacked out look going

Have you had a Jardine Pipe before?

FYI-If you haven't already done a Jardine install on your bike you'll either need a friend or a jack to do the project. The kick stand will need to come off so something will need to hold the bike up while you wrench on the bottom of the bike. Other than that it went very smooth for me.

I was planing to hold the bike up with straps to either side when the stand is off. I don't have a rear wheel stand yet. Next on my list

also, if you're near due for an oil change, now is the time to do it.. drain the oil out before you start the exhaust install because you'll have to remove the oil lines from the swingarm to get the old bracket out

Yea, and be prepared to "adjust" the brackets because the holes do not line up very well and the brackets need some bending to fit.

Just finished the install. Everythig went perfect except for the short bolt in the front for the fairing bracket. A quick trip to the local hardware store fixed that. Had it for a short ride down the street. WOW...I Love it. Now it sounds like it should. Couldn't take it too far tonight. Wife is home sick and my 6 year old would not like it if I left him home with sick mom. Neither would sick Mom. Will ride it to work in the morning. Can't wait. Pics tomorrow after I clean it.:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

really? the one I got with the kit was too short, but the instructions said to use the stock one, and it fit just fine

It would be fine if I never wanted to remount the lower fairing. The spacer in the kit takes up the last bit of room on the bolt.
