I have an 03 lightning with the stock exhaust. I have new tires for it but cant find anyone to put them on. I work at a car dealership and could mount and balence the tires myself but I'm not sure how I can get the bike off the ground to take the wheels off. I am trying to avoid buying a motorcycle jack, any idas would be apreciated. Thanks

Im trying to figure out the same thing. I have a automotive floor jack that I think I may make a wood cradle to fit the curve of the exhaust about 12" long and center it on the jack point and Lift it up using some ratchet straps on the handle bars to sturdy it and keep it form leaning.

Pitbull makes stands for buells, specifically the front stand. they work great.

make your own craddle out of wooden blocks and just lift the bike with the help of a friend.

or a universal paddock stand isn't that expensive.

This is what I did. You can't see very well in the last one. I put some blocks of wood on both sides of the exhaust for support and jacked it up on the motorcyle jack. It is pretty sturdy like this suprisinly. I also did a rachet strap up over the rafters in the garage for extra support. It sat like this for a good 18 or so hours. So I would definately trust in doing it like this again.
