This might be a dumb question but do i have to remove the exhaust or is there a place in the exhaust for a jack?

THe exhaust has supports built inside it. There is no need to remove the exhaust to jack your bike. One thing that is difficult is balancing the bike on the jack. Alot of people including my self have made blocks that match the contour of the pipe to put on your jack. This is a good idea along with some straps to keep it from falling over. Hope this helps you out.

ATTENTION!!! there are jacking points in the STOCK EXHAUST ONLY if your bike has an after market exhaust I would get with the mfr to see if there are jacking points

Ya I made an assumption about the exhaust being stock. As long as it is stock your good. If not, just check with the mfg. like strmvt said.
