I looked all over for a before and after video and couldn't find one so I ordered a QMI anyways. I got it in today and so I filmed a quick video today and spliced it together. My first time using iMovie so I hope it's ok. I received the QMI insert for my Jardine pipe because it is RIDICULOUS loud and I'm going deaf from it. It tones it down a bit. Maybe not as much as I had hoped but we'll see how it goes. I filmed this with my Lumia 920 phone on the 720p setting. Unfortunately it has great sound cancelation built in so I don't think it represents the sound fully. Hopefully it'll get the point across.

EDIT: For some reason it won't embed the video :(

Edit: sure it will.

I usually ride with earplugs for any extended trip. Around town spot to spot I never have had to. I have to put them in EVERY SINGLE time with this pipe or the ringing goes on for days. I decided to try this before moving on to other pipe options but as of now, I wear earplugs when I'm looking at this bike :D

oh and thanks for the embed!

I rode to the Vintage Bike Night here in Las Vegas last night and even though it's not as quiet as I had hoped for, the bike seems to love it. It runs much smoother and seems to have a more peaky torque feel. A friend of mine said it best in that it's a bit quieter but the sound is a lot less concussive. I like it. Just wanted to put the info out there for people that are looking at doing this with their Jardine.

I have the QMI for my rt-1 and I like it..of course I don't think the Jardine is too loud except in longer rides..exactly why I bought the QMI. Nice video!

I wish I knew a good way to get those stickers off the exhaust tho..without leaving a goo or bad look [confused]
