Since this thread was brought back to life i will ask, is that black bed liner on the engine cases? ive been considering painting mine, but i wasnt sure what to use.

thank you :)

sure it's ok to copy, they are not patented :D primary and ignition covers are painted with vht wrinkle black! summer of riding behind and still looks good!

winter has reached Finland and today i started disassembling the bike.. Some fancy mods for next summer ;)

Small change of plans for this winter udgrade list.. still there will not be boosting the intake for this year :D

But no need for crossroads bars anymore, i'll probably order fatbar clamp and dragstyle fatbar. Also just picked up BraKing rear and front rotors and etc fancy parts :)

Today, my bike got trapped.. Me and pokon took a day at the garage and mocked up new muffler. The Supertrapp -muffler is from Vrod. I cutted all the brackets from the muffler off and welded same type of bracket to the rear of the motor as Jardine has. It will be mounted with ss band from the back. link pipe and cone from 50mm header to 63mm muffler is also stainless steel. Tomorrow we will tig weld it ready and add one extra support to front bracket. I will go with 18 discs and billet aluminum endcap for smooth finish. i will probably weld a small collar for discs to the top of the muffler so it wont mess the back of the engine black from exhaust smokes.. but couple pics!

some more tomorrow!

Latest update looks sick ... Can't wait for updated pics. Are you going to fit the cover? Will you make the bracket yourself or got it ordered??
I am asking as I am fitting Akrapovic over next weekend and thinking how/where to get bracket to fit back the bottom plastics.
Keep pics coming.
Bless

Thank you all!

CWK, I bought chin fairing brackets from Twin motorcycles. Brackets are good looking and powdercoated and didnt cost much..

onelogue, Covers are painted with VHT Wrinkle Black. If you decide to paint with wrinkle black, make sure you follow instructions! Many have failed because of wrong temperature and number of layers!

Loki, ehh, why? :D it has well clearance to tire and thats why i use closed endcap.

We welded sleeve to the back and welded all together. now its time to disassembly rear shock and take parts for coating. Supertrapp will be coated with thermo powder and rear shock spring matt black. I also ordered LSL fatbar clamp, LSL dragbar -style fatbar and LSL slash cut pegs, black of course ;)

At first pics i forgot to install axle sliders :D But now its all ready and eating kilometers ;) I'll try to ask if someone photographer would take few pics in the sun, because it's not that dark in sunlight as in the pics :)

Nice!!! Did you have to extend cables and stuff for those bars? They look awesome...the entire bike looks awesome, really well done!!

thanks for comments!

there was no need for extending cables, they reached nicely. i did cut 1cm from both sides of the bar because it was too wide for my hands in full lenght :)
