Raz watch videos plasti dip video not much prep just clean and shoot lay it on thin but lay multiple coats my wind screen i did had about 10 super thin coats same with my forks and i pressure wash worth a fan tip 3 feet or so away

quick question about plasti-dipping the forks, did you disassemble everything to paint or just do a lot of prep work to mask everything off?

Dipped the frame.. its held up pretty good for 1000 miles so far kinda rubbed off at the top where mylegs hit.

Buelly i just masked the caps at the top and the blue adjuster portion at the bottom and the dust seal and leg and hung them from the rafters. I put some small copper tube i had through where the axle bolt goes on each one and put mechanics wire through that then over the rafters. Before pulling the tape off i ran a razor around the edge of the tape first. My prep was a rag and brake clean lol don't be scared if you don't like it it peals of great as long as you do enough coats if you don't you will just have to rub it off. Is really easy to work with.
