Hope everything turns out ok! It's always hard seeing these stories!, especially if you know them

That video was not comforting. Staying positive hope all is well.

Ill be slwoing down for the next few weeks.

He will be in my prayers, but what is it with these news stories? They say he was dead at the scene but hes actually alive? From the looks of it is bike took a serious beating.

Hope he comes out soon.

I was in an accident like this 2 years ago now, my prayers out to him, and all families involved. This is not an easy thing to go through.

What?!?! ... I was just talking to him about some parts a few days ago as well !! ... I can't even bring to mind the words to say but "that sucks" just doesn't quite seem to cover it ... Any way we could get a "Get Well Soon" card put together for him? ... Hell I'll send him one myself if I can find out where to send it ... =\

This is not a good situation for anyone. Please everyone be more conservative when you have a passenger. John seems like a good guy from his posts and I liked what he was doing with his cr. I fear healing from his injuries will only be the first of the challenges he is about to face.

Agreed. Physical health can be taken care of more easily than mental.

This is hard all the way around. :(

Horrible, news. Most of us ride hard from time to time and accept the risk we are taking. When we have a passenger we must realize that their lives are in our hands. Also bikes handle differently with the added weight and a curve that you take at 65mph (or whatever the posted speed limit is) on a regular basis can not be taken at the same speed riding 2-up. It is going to be very hard for him once this has all sunk into his mind. I am atheist and can not offer a prayer but what I can do is I will offer John422 my cell phone number and if at any point he needs a person to talk to I will make myself available.

i hope he pulls through ok.from what i read his biggest problem may be a manslaughter charge at 18.
