keeping rims clean

The natural metal finish is really hard to keep clean. I've never really been able to find anything that will completely clean it and it's very tedious. My Hawk has black powder coated rims and my Ninja's are factory black. I think they both hide the dirt well and they come clean much more easily than the Buell's rims. Someday, I will be getting those powder coated too.

Yes, NT650... A lot of people don't know what they are. It was restored. The guy who did the work painted it black with gold metal flake and gold graphics. It's a sweet little bike but it's so small it makes the Firebolt look like a Goldwing LOL!

I happen to know exactly what they are. I logged ~80,000km on my '89. I did everything, including commuting, touring, & even track-days on that great little bike!

Nice Hawk, cytocis! Looks like a dual headlight conversion and a custom seat. Do you still have it? I had a red 88 and sold it back in the 90's. I was lucky enough to get the 89 this past year. I think it's got about 16,000 miles on it... Original engine, never rebuilt... Same with the tranny. It just purrs when it's running and shifts very smoothly with very little effort. That says some about Honda's engineering that 25 years later, the bike runs like new. It is small though, isn't it!
