Knocking sound, help find it plz

Hey guys, i know hardly anyone will see this but i need help already with my new bike. It has this knocking sound when the clutch is let out in neutral and also while crushing or gain speed up to 3 grand. I can also feel it too.

I have made a video to help you hear what its like. So far i have taken apart the stator cover and everything there seems tight, a few gears move but they seem normal that way. I can post some pics of the cover.

BTW is the the upgraded stator like i was told was put on it?

Man I can't hear it from the video. The exhaust dominates the sound.

While you have the cover off check and make sure the rotor nut was torqued to 300ft/pds. Everything I heard in the video is was normal, but yes the exhaust is masking whatever ur trying to diag.

You can hear the difference when i pull the clutch in and let it out. Its a knocking.

Sounds like clutch noise to me.

My KTM 990 sounds like that when cold, but not quite as loud.

That is not normal. My guess is either the clutch basket or the stator nut, possibly a gear behind it. You heard mine, and although the exhaust is loud, it does not rattle like that.

Thats what im thinking Dean. I have a friend who is a mechinaic and im asking him right now. Then come later this week shell have to be hauled off to the stealership. Cause i just have fantastic luck.

Ok so i think it MIGHT be normal. Watching videos of the 1125's ive noticed alot have that sound. This video sounds exactly like mine.

Yea sounds like the clutch is chattering which isnt normal .

Talked to a friend who works on HD's and he said it is probably a bad clutch bearing. 300+$ to fix...

I don't think thats a 08 or ebr stator.should have 16 or 18 poles
that rattle on decel like a dam bucket of bolts is that non functional vacum slipper clutch.

If its the stator nut why would it only make the sound when the clutch is let out?

Concur with above. The EBR stator is 18 pole or 9 pair poles...

When you squeeze the clutch, it "loads" the shafts, spring pressure is applied. When it's "unloaded" stuff is loose and may rattle some.

I can affirm that noise is not normal, I owned a CR. However, that damn hydraulic clutch was the source of many issues for me during my ownership.

Loki, did you pinpoint the issue? Could you feel a vibration in the clutch lever?

Sadly no. Yes i can. I also have noticed a new problem.

When the bike is warmed up and it idles down, if i open the throttle slowly and normally everything is fine. But if i WOT at idle down, she dies. Just turns straight off. why is this bike such a pain?
