This is off the Hyosung website, notice the up to $500 military discount they offer... This is interesting to me because I couldn't twist Gail's HD in KCMO to give me a military deal or offer any discount whatsoever, throw in an oil change, tires, jacket or anything. I also tried to get a couple bucks taken off since my Dad works at the plant here in KC (this will be a different rant for later about employee treatment[smirk])

I just thought this was interesting about how much Harley advertises love for the country... Unless you're buying a Buell to help them clear some floor space for another t-shirt rack....dammit

that dosnt surprise me in the least.most foreign companys have more respect for us than american ones do.those discounts might get bigger depending on what happens over there.

Off subject but some of the Honda's we used where I teach the MSF course are almost 30 years old and when we got the 250cc Hyosung's in some of them crapped out in the first season.

I saw one for sale on craigslist and was just wondering what the hell it was, thats when I saw this on their homepage, just to be clear I wasn't shopping lol :D

Hyosung are pretty new over here and i like them. Cant say much about them but i only heard about electrical problems so far. I think they have very nice looking bikes.

I have seen a couple and they remind me or the Chinese knock offs of dirt bikes and quads sold up here in Canada at Canadian Tire stores, i.e. cheaply made
who knows tho, I don't know anyone who owns one and the price makes me leary cause if something is priced cheaply it often is...

Exactly Buddha!
I think a few are missing the point here... I would never buy one because they are made cheap and I wouldn't trust my life on any of that stuff.
My whole reason for this post was to show that this foreign company offers a deal like that and HD acted like they didn't even want my business.
