lack of cr forum posts

just got my cr a few weeks ago and have now notice what a lack of cr forum posts there are.. there has to be people out there with cr's and talking about them and mods and such.. i have been the only one posting for the cr side of it.. come on cr guys or gals

Do you realise how rare CRs really are? I want one if i could get one i would. And we would be forum buddies.

I have a red CR. But the lack of posts stems from my lack of riding. The snow started flying today and sadly enough my bike is tucked for the winter. Ugh. I would love to do some mod's on it this winter but unfortunately the funds will not allow.

yea i hear that.. im gettting little stuff done to it this winter.. might have snow tonight but i doubt it its not cold enough yet.. and yea i know how rare they are.. i drove 8 hours 1 way to get mine from a dealer.. i wanted one ever since i got my 12s..

I have one but all the mods I would of done to it were already done. I had the stator go out but there was definitely a lot of stuff on that that I didn't need to post anything for it. It's tucked away right now except for nice days and it's been to cold here so I ride my XB9S since I have my heated gear wired up on that. I won't wire the CR for fear of more stator problems and I bought it mainly as a nice weather fun bike anyways.

It's a rare market with only 3099 built 09-10. Lots have been wrecked and parted out as well. Theirs not a whole lot of mods to be done to the 1125 platform like the XB platform, IMHO.

This is all true unfortunately. They're a great bike but not many out there. I would love to make more parts for the 1125's in general but the numbers are just not there (as in the XB's) unfortunately. We did recently release the slotted axle sliders though...Not a huge seller thus far. Check them out!

Well I just ordered a new set for the rear. Some lady yesterday knocked my CR over in a parking lot of a local small gas station. Your product saved the rear portion of the bike. She fled before I could get out to the bike...I was so pissed when I got home last night I just ordered up a set of CRG levers RC2...

Man that sucks! That's about as low as you can get IMHO! It's bad enough that they knocked it over but to flee the scene too is just cowardly! [mad]

At any rate...we received your order. Thank you! We do have a few non-slotted ones like you had that we were clearing out for only $80 a set if you prefer? I figured I'd throw that out there in case you preferred the same as you had. I'll wait to hear back from you before we ship. Sorry for the thread jack peeps! Carry on!

This winter I plan to flush coolant and replace with industrial glycol from my work to help it run cooler.. also have Buellybagger paint my plastics to a Cadillac pearl white with satin finish like my xb12s was. Barend mirrors, wheel strips, and new turn signals are already ordered

Yeah theres not many mods to be done to the CR's. I wish EBR would put a kit out for the 1125 to 1190. That would be bad ass.

Everyone knows my carbon CR but i havent been posting about it cause i need to repair it from my track wreck. Starting to think about asking forum members if they have any of the parts :\

JWoody not sure if that mark on your swingarm is from the fall or the hooks from your stand. I got some free spools from T-Rex when I ordered a set of 1125 stands. Not sure if 50dro sells spools too but if not you should give them a call to get their spools since it allows the hooks from the stand to be a little farther out and not contact the swingarm so it doesn't take off the paint.

Sandro's are slotted now so I'll be using those. I'm not too sure the scrapes there are from the fall or the stands. It's hardly deep, it'll buff out. I buffed the scoop out as best as I could with Novus-1 and some other crap in the garage. Those are too deep so I'll be looking over Al's site for a replacement here in the near term.

I looked right at the lady and thought, "she's got plenty of room and she is 3 feet away." Besides just grabbing a bottle of water, 60 secs in and out...#!@#%@!?

Busted a piece of my RS-1 off too.

I honestly don't post much because my CR has been pretty reliable and a dream to ride this past summer. I am going to change the fluids and try and ride it whenever the sun is out. Awesome bike. I will admit that my mind is drifting to a fireboat or cyclone in the near future. Something a bit smaller to take to the vintage bike cruises in my neighborhood.

It's actually the stock 180. They were freshly installed with maybe a 300 mile ride on them. I ride to many twisties so I like the 180's. I kept the stock sizes on both the CR and the XB. The 300 mile ride was to the Virginia gaps off of the parkway. Had to take it a little easy since they were brand new tires but it was still fun.

I like having the swingarm spools cause usually when I put her on the stands its to take the wheels off. I need to save up for some axle sliders though. My savings is hurting after blowing a stator about 2 months after buying my CR and rebuilding the engine in my XB so it is gonna have to wait a little while.

i hate the 180s on the cr and r.. the swingarm is so much wider than a xb model.. so i see in a 190 or 200 in the near future for sure
