on my 08 SGC my left rear blinker stays on , My volt meter is reading 12.5 with motor off key on, I did switch flashers for my other SCG no help, From what I read on the board it might a broken tap in my left hand control and needs to be replaced, Please let me know if this sounds correct, tomorrow I will switch left hand controls, it's nice to have a spare bike to swap parts.

thx in advance :

So you are saying the front left blinker and instrument cluster blinker are blinking and at the same time the rear left blinker stays ON when the left hand control switch is at left position and they all go OFF when the switch not in the left position? Blinker switch voltage feeding line connected to the line between the front and rear signals. So these symptoms sounds like a magic because of the front and the rear blinkers connected directly each other according the electrical scheme, not trough the switch. Check the electrical scheme and double check the symptoms. Video would be helpful.

If you think there is something wrong with the switch you can disassemble it and inspect, it is simple thing, I'm sure it is easy to fix.

Ok, were you playing with the wiring before this started happening?

Does the right blinker work correctly?

Does the left front blinker still blink at all?

Do you have a chopped tail?

If you answered yes to all of these, chances are your left blinker is plugged into where the old license plate light used to go.

Whatever you do... do not ask "How did you know?" :black_eyed:
