what were people paying for xb9's after the rebate?

all XB bikes had less of a rebate on them, sorry I cant remember figures but it was lees of a deal than the 1125 bikes

I saw mixed results on that. Originally the word was that all bikes had a $5k bounty. Later we heard that XB12s got $3k and XB9s got $2k. It was never very clear and different depending on who you asked.

I hesitated until this year before I started calling around and was told that only liquid cooled Buells got $5k and the rest got varying amounts of lesser rebates. There was no consistency to it and I got the distinct impression that the dealers were simply trying to maximize profit despite not really caring about the bikes.

I did eventually find a used XB12XT w/ 300 miles on it. The owner had purchased it in late 2009 with a $5k discount, I know this for a fact.

I love the bike but I certainly would keep shopping until you find what you want for the right price. Given the parts shortage it's only worth getting one of these if you can get a great deal.

I searched for one forever all over the north east and never found any less than $6500. I kept my eye open and found a used 2003 with 3400 miles for $3200. A new one would've been nice but who am I to complain about 3400 miles?

lots of older 9's going for WAY to cheep laity

the woman wants my nine after I upgrade in a season or so but I am so darn attached to it I may just by her her own for what they are going for right now.
