so speaking of customs paint jobs in that other thread, i think this one is pretty wild, but pretty slick as well. and not just the paint, you see the detail work, with the chrome paint, there is also ghost flames in there, and he took it all the way down to the frame, revolution performace bigger pistons, painted the engine crinkle black, an all around great frame off build. i really wish i had this kindof money to put into my bike right now!!

wish he woudl have went bigger with the engine though

wish he would have gave the suspension a little overhaul, make it a little more sporty

wish he would throw a firebolt fairing on the front so he could have some more room for that awesome paint

its 53 pages, but if you look through everything he posts pics of the entire build practically, even the swingarm (left side is cut out).....kinda cool

nothing agaisnt xtremelow, the warhorse is cool in its own way, i think this guys paint makes a little more a statement though

if youre bored check it out its pretty cool, if not, here's the final product[up]

lemmy's build

Each bike to their owner. If everyone had a bike like everyone else's it would be boring. The detail in my bikes frame up build is so subtle most people don't have a clue it is even done. I like the stock yet custom look nothing to flashy, thus every part painted or powder coated, race fairing, S tail, Ss swing arm, and what not.

That Bike looks good but to each their own for sure. Unless building for personal taste it is a waste of money since custom stuff only limits taste.

agreed, i remember last time i looked at yours, the attention to detial is there, and your paint fits the project, his paint hit home with me, the black, the ghost flames, the chrome paint, looks good

and the green and black looks good on yours as well, just a different kind of cool [up]

i also agree, to all his own!!

Too flashy for me too. Looks good but you'll never see any of my stuff like that. I'd prefer something in a saten finish with gloss highlights... Maybe one day I'll have the ambition.

Tastefully done , in my eyes , really like the swing arm cut-out . I know others on this forum also have done it . Certainly cool !

swing arm cut-out

i thought it helped get some air to the rearbrake if you hide it, but really it doens't even loook like air will get in there, i think it just shaves some weight?

save weight.... hahahaha.

its just a cosmetic thing to add anohter point of difference. for the bits you cut out, you end up welding more back in to give it its shape.

Ya I don't really think I would cut into the swingarm strictly for cosmetic, no thanks.

been done a lot. i dont really like it as to me it makes it look a little slim. i like the buell factory latter design swing arm more.

Beautiful bike, 1st time I've seen that one.

Goduc can you post the link so I can checkout the build thread, thanks.

The front fender is a stock fender cut down with hand made base panel. Good Luck :D
