I hear ya, I started my bike with the muffler off and holy sh*t it was so loud!!!!!!! Wish i could keep it that way.

It was my understanding that by taking the muffler off you would be running the risk of warping your exhaust valves.

I think it has something to do with the headers not being long enough to warm the cooler air before it reaches the valves.

regardless of the exhaust being installed or not the headers stay the same length. I'm lost with your post.......what do you mean?

STOP. You can't hijack this thread, with your exhaust hypothisis. WTF about the HOLE in the muffler. WOW I almost hit him up, but I've had one dealing with Canada Post, one dealing too many.

That dose not look like shipping damage to me. The carbon looks dressed up, maybe with a dremel. Not splintered like carbon does under stress.

ok guys thanks for all the great comments........Personally I am not impressed that this got posted before I even had a chance to respond to his emails. I'll say here what I have responded to Brandon. I am completly baffled how that hole got in there. I checked over that muffler completly when I removed it from the bike and it was not damaged at all. I don't sell damaged goods. I can't believe some of the comments here even before I had a chance to respond. Really gives me a good idea of some of the people on here. I never new it was busted and I think it got damaged in shipping somehow. I certainly didn't dress it up with a dremel tool as GSX suggested. I packed it in the original box in the bubble wrap. I have dealt with Brandon on this off line and even though I did not damage it I have agreed to pay him for the repairs just to keep things good. I have never ripped anybody off nor have I been ripped off using the internet. I certainly don't want to start now.

Just as he is pissed at sone comments and I noted above I never wanted or intends to run Phazer into the ground.

He did me a huge solid and compensated me to get it fixed and only went by my word and the pics.

I truely believe he had no idea the hole was there thus the reason he is paying for it to get fixed.

I guess the thread can and should end
