Not a buell, but my buddy Tom dropped his 9 second drag bike oved so I can fab up a 2 into 1 race header/exhaust, air intake, mod the wheelie bars, and do some wideband tuning so hes ready for the season. Im trying to talk him into letting me convert it over to injection and put a nice fat turbo on it haha.

that is sic there is a guy in my town that builds drag bikes and i love the sound and the smell of a built drag bike [up][up][up]

that's awesome! I try to be respectful of my neighbors and don't let my bike idle for more than 15 seconds before I take off, but I would definitely line that thing up at one end of the street and see how fast I could get to the other, haha

So do you have to test ride it when your done making the parts? You gotta make sure they don't rattle. :D

I love to watch Harley drag bikes. They may take their time getting to the far end, but when they come of the line.....man, there ain't nothin' in this world like that!

what kind of numbers does it have so far? 9what? and speed? and looks like lots of fun, but I would still choose my Firebolt any day , my Ole' Blue is just almost to much fun in the twisties (you can never even to much fun anyways!!!)and even lots of fun the straight aways, not as fast as his drag bike but still fast enough for now, great bike he has, & speaking of cool vehicles coming to the shop ,I had an old red T-bucket roadster come into where I work last week, it had some open headers sounded great , eeven though it was not in perfect shape ( a driver not a show car).

hes says around 150 at the wheel, and hes has run 9.95's @ 130-135.

Well after a few beers last night at the annual mustache bash, I got the wheels turning, and after he saw my honda, the new gameplan is 8 second timeslips via a custom turbo setup, so anyways hes getting me a chunk of muney tomorrow and I am gonna design every aspect of the setup, so I will keep you guys updated with pictures and what not. I'm looking for a minimum of 100 more at the wheel, but I would like to see 150.

It is a good thing he didn't drop it at my garage, that bike would get me in way too much trouble! LOL

hahaha, it just scares me lol. I wish I could upload a facebook video because the damn bke fish tails all the way down the track.

i would have thought somewhere in the 8s at least.if it fish tails now maybe he should get it to hook up before the he does a turbo.

Yeah it deffinatley should be an 8 second bike, but hes older and is a carb guys, and he needs to come into the now and realize the tuning capabilities we have now. He fish tailed because he had a new hoosier on there, and the MT that was on there before was wore out more on one side and the wheelie bars were set for the MT so it kept kicking him towards the wall, should be dialed in now.

Oh yeah I am picking up the turbo tomorrow, so hopfully I will have some time this week to get started on it. I have a couple other jobs goin, and also getting my car ready, so there is alot goin on but I hope I can work on it. Need to figure out how to do the carb too.

Hey guys figured i'd chime in, I also dragrace but its not a buell either, runs 8.80s at 150 in the 1/4-1400cc kawasaki motor.....i like my v twin for the road...but nothing beats a inline 4 in a straight line
