looking at 08 xb12s please help

I am currently looking at a xb12s that I really like. I am concidering buying it, but it kind of has a lot of miles. I was wondering how many miles (reliable) these bikes are. How many miles do your xb's have? Any major issues? The one I am looking at has 16k on it, and I probably ride around 6-8k/year. Thanks!

Almost 13k on my '09 and running strong, I don't think 16k is all that much as long as it has been properly cared for and serviced regularly.

It is an older guy selling and I am pretty sure it has been well cared for. Think I might go pick it up this week....would go pick it up today, but it's snowing here ion Kc, mo.

24k on my 04 xb12R. No major repairs. front and rear brake switch went bad. Clutch cable snapped at 18k
