Hi guys, I have never road a bike before and I hear some people think the 1125r is too much bike too soon, but I would have to disagree (open to debate). I'm looking at one that has the factory fairings. What belly pans will fit the factory fairings to make it look flush? And do i need anything else besides the belly pan. I've done my homework but can't seem to find specific ones that say they will fit these fairings.

The airtech one is suppose to fit.
It's all about throttle control.
08's have cluster ,rear turn signal, and clutch cover issues.
09 has stator issues depending where you are I would make you a great deal on a 09 with warranty till febury you cold either buy 08 stator parts or buy up to three years extended warranty still.

I'm looking at a 08' at a dealer, should those issues already be taken care of?

Appreciate the insight.

not knowing you i would say your better off with an xb.but i know guys that started on litre bikes and had no problems and guys that a 500 was to much for them

i think its a bad idea to start on an 1125. its a powerful bike. its possible you could get comfortable very quickly but its quite a risk. any experience on dirtbikes or quads?

Where are you located? RT has the best looking 1125 I've ever seen but if you're on the west coast I have the best priced 1125 :D

I'm in Maine so i might be a little to far away (let me know / how much you are asking), RT that bike is dope tho I love it. I'm pretty sure I'm going to stick with the 1125r but i do appreciate the input and opinions on the decision.

Thanks to all ZW

If your not able to know your limits then any bike is too much bike. Whether it's a 150hp bike, or a 250cc bike, both will go highway speeds and can get you killed. If your a safe rider, buy it.
