looking at buying a firebolt xb12r i live in cali anddoes anyone know a bike shop that works on buells and how hard is it to get parts.

Parts arent too hard yet, depending on what you need of course. Most Motorcycle shops (None Factory IE Honda, Kawi, Yama, Suz, etc) should work on them. SOME HD shops will work on them but they are getting slimmer and slimmer!

They are very easy to work on yourself. Especially with this forum and support community.[up] I was always nervous to work on the r6 but I won't hesistate to jump in on the XB and learn as I go.

I've found the xb12r very easy to work on, I just bought mine a month ago and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE it! I've owned a Gsxr 600 and 1000, and a couple cruisers...I randomly stumbled by the xb12r online one day, and bought one a week later. My xb12r gives me an ear to ear grin that a crotch rocket can't touch, plus I get looks from people trying to figure out why I sound like a Harley on roids but look like a pretty boy street style. I would deff recommend buying one, the forums are all you need to complete work on your buell by yourself!
