I've wanted a buell for a long time. Decided I want a xb12r, I found one local for sale, 2007 xb12r black/red 11,000 miles. The guy is stuck at $4400...has k&n and jardine, waiting to hear back on race ecm or not. Is that a decent price considering it's in good condition? I've searched and have found prices range quite a bit. Also anything I should really look for when I check it out? Any advice would be appreciated.

KBB gives a dealer's retail price of $4900 in excellent condition. Buying it privately in good condition...$4400 is probably not a bad price. Especially local.
Check for leaky forks (wheelies) . Hopefully good rubber, time for a new battery.
Welcome to the site!

check out the general motorcycle chat forum...there's a thread listed there for new buyers to Buell motorcycles, not sure of the title, good info though

Ok thanks, yeah, forks seemed good, new battery, new front tire, rear tire is wore out big time, but overall it's super clean and seems to run great. I'll try to find that thread! Thanks!
