I'm looking at an 09 Vmax with 1004 miles on it. Anyone have one or know anything about them? Just need another bike that will stand out.

I don't, but minus the rear Fender, it has similar lines to a Ducati diavel which is a bad mutha effer!

What are they asking for that 09?

We took it in on a trade for 12k and I can buy it for 500 over cost so 12.5 before tax and dmv fees

I don't know much about it, but I remember reading some decent reviews on it when it was released. Have you ridden it yet? How's it perform? It's got plenty of power from what I read.

I think I might have to get it. Only 2500 produced??? I've ridden it around the lots we have here. It's a strange feeling to ride something with close to 200hp and not have the front end lift up through 4th gear

Ok, so I pulled the trigger and got the Vmax. Holey crap!! I can just about keep up with my cousins CBR 1000 in a straight line, and all my friends with 600's are no where to be found. Way overkill on the power in that thing. Gas mileage is atrocious but I guess thats expected. I still miss the buell and will probably pick another one up some day. The V-4 is starting to grow on me though....

Was a crazy summer riding this beast around. I learned that with the proper conditions. Or with a passenger. The front end isn't so heavy.

I love the power the vmax's have but to me they have to many different styles going on and dont look all that good.

ORRR I was looking at a Ducati Monster 1100 for just under $10k

i see you already got the Vmax, and i'm glad to see that you DIDN'T go with a duc monster. Ducati is a great brand, but the monster line is kind of a disgrace to their product line. Don't get me wrong, they aren't really bad bikes, but they don't deserve the Ducati name.

Yea as far as the duc went it didn't take long to cross off the list.

A vmax is on my wish list.
She's for sale, $13,000 in CNY ;)

I wouldn't mind keeping it, biggest rush I've gotten on two wheels, definitely a unique experience to scrape your toe on a 600+ pound motorcycle (personally I liked the ability to break the tire loose at 60 mph)....but with that said, there's a reason I'm getting another Buell this weekend...

For me it was a "well I can cross that off the list now" purchase.
