Low beam went out today!!!!!

Should I just order the oem low beam? Should I replace the high beam at the same time even though it's still okay? Any of you recommend anything better than oem?

Well bulbs loose intensity over time. If you replaced them both, you'll be happy with the improvement.

I say go with some blue bulbs and upgrade both, I did and love the look plus the bulds dont cost that much.

Just FYI though. Any color added to the bulb lowers it's intensity.

Most of the time, yes I do. Although, I have to admit, I have had some crazy colored hyper-rice bulbs in my integra. I have stock HIDs in my celica now and I love them. I really don't mind colored HIDs because they're bright enough. I just don't like those damn purple ones. [mad] UGH... it makes me mad just thinking about them.

Any brand in particular? Can I get these "colored lights" through the dealer?

It's PIAA part # 70755 according to the package. They are called extreme white plus. I have the dual high beam mod done as well. Night and day over the stock lights.

I got these for about $200 about a year ago, run off a timer relay, meaning (dave) the bike rolls through the priming process (about 4 sec) and starts...then the lights pop on.

fresh, I looked around, those PIAA bulbs seem to be cheapest on Amazon for about $35 each, I just snagged two and got free shipping...

just type PIAA 70755 into the search...

In the meantime, I'll just replace the both bulbs. I'll prolly try and get my hands on the PIAA's!

Dave, I'd be happy to do a full write up on the relay install
. the relay you're looking for is a DEI 528T 12V adjustable pulse timer relay. the wiring can be a little tricky. I'm going to be pulling my bike apart to do some painting once I get all my carbon in (think the Buellcati paint scheme)
I'll snap some shots when I get to that point.
