low fuel light stays on

Just went and topped the tank off and the light still stays on didn't know if anyone else had the same problem, checked connections but no luck?
 
low fuel sensor or wires

Look for worn wires on the harness coming out of the pump.

Y/R is the sensor wire on the '03 9R, probably the same on all.
