Bought my Orange '08 Ulysses used with two seats. One is Black in the rear and Orange in the front (I believe that this one is stock). The other one is all Black and the PO told me that this is the lower version which he bought to get a little lower to the ground. Today I measured the height with one and then another, they are both around 34" above ground at the lowest point, not much difference, the all Black one is may be half an inch lower. So here is my question - is the Black one really a low seat or some other seat (it does say Buell on the bottom of it, it actually says Buell on both seats)? Is there an even lower seat available for '08 Ulysses, something that is considerably lower than stock? May be something aftermarket, not Buell? Thanks!

Corbin makes a low seat for ulys, but its twice as expensive and not ne lower. The low seat isnt much lower but it is narrower around the front to make it easier to touch at lights. I would know im 5'7" and ride an 07 xb12x without a lowered suspension( ineed that low seat. It can't be made much lower because of the computer and other junk under the seat in the rear sub frame... but i have considered de-skining my stock seat and shaving the foam even lower than the low and seeing if i can drop the seat pan down a bit.
