Looks really nice; I especially like the polished lip on the wheels.
As mentioned above, what's that exhaust?
Also, how much weight do you think all that carbon saves?
Thanks for the nice comments.. im really happy with the finished result.
the exhaust is called Torque Hammer and is made by Twin motorcycles.
I might have been a little to fast to call it done. because I have come up with a few new ideas. but I will wait until the winter to take it apart again. right now im just enjoying how grate a bike it is to ride.
So I went down to a friend of mine, how is racing and buildings buells.
he did a tps reset on my buell because its was not running as it should after i changed the ecm, and what a difference. it now pulls like hell, and if im not easy on the throttle the front wheel will lift in 2nd..
while he was doing the tps reset I went in the back of his store to see a new buell he had build. its the first supermotard buell I have seen, I took some pictures so i could show you guys.
awesome looking bike man. i like the other buell in the first set of pics to. where did u get that crash bar with the sliders from? i have been looking for something like that but cant find anything.
the sliders were mounted on the bike when I bought it i england, a few years back. but i came across a web site where they sold them.. I can try to see if i can find it again.
It has been a few months since a last did something to my Buell, because i have been driven it while the weather is still ok here in Denmark, but now the bike is back in the garage and I started up the project again.
I have bought a new front pulley in red and will cut in the carbon so it's going to be visible.
And yesterday i started up another project, I'm going to do some airbrush on the airbox cover and the rear end. it should be done in the end of next week.
Here is a little preview of what's happened with the bike the last 2 weeks.
I will post some more pic's after the weekend.
Im going early tomorrow with the 2 Buells to scandinavian motor show.
