Just found out my really good friend hit a deer at 70+ MPH. He flew through the air and luckily landed in a grass field. He is a squid and never wears a helmet or gear (i bust his balls all the time for it) and somehow how he survived. Hes at the hospital now getting checked out. Ill keep you guys posted on his recovery. He totaled his 2012 R1 . Keep safe, the deer are in rut![down]

Its all about the $$ if you can afford it, you can have it. Even if you dont wear a helmet, jacket, or any other sort of protective gear on one of the worlds fastest motor cycles.

I once combined the two biggest mistakes a rider can make, I was ridding squid (no gear/ridding to fast) and stopped at the bar for a few beers. Woke up in the hospital 8 weeks later… Lesson learned… 15 months of recovery and the hospital bills kinda drove the point home for me.
