Hey gents,
I have been wanting to remove the outside (farthest out) lights from my 09 1125R and want to put in amber bulbs. Would anybody have the idea to the kind/number bulb that the marker lights are? Does anybody know how to remove them? I figure i can just pull them out, but i dont want to mess anything up. Thanks in advance for the help. Ride safe!

Found out that a little use of force gets them out, but know i cant get the bulbs apart. I just stuck them back in, because if i break anything then im going to get pissed. If anybody knows how to take the bulbs out of the sockets they are attached to, let me know!

If you're talking about the little bulbs on the outside on each side, mine just pulled right out with a little force.

I pulled them out of the fairing, but i cant get them to release from the sleeve they are in :/

Pull harder I guess hahaha, seriously though, mine just pull right out. I do have an 08 though so maybe they changed them.

Ok, update, pull off the rubber boot over the bulb first, and there might be a latch or you just have to twist the bulb to pull it out.

Alrighty il give that a shot! But hey, if i break a bulb all hells gunna break loose!

Woot! Finally got the lights out! I did a little research and found that the "position light" is a common "194" Bulb. So i switched out the white bulbs for amber bulbs i ran out and bought for about $10 and check out the difference! I love the way it looks now!

They look like they came from the factory this way!

By the way, sorry for the huge pictures. I had to wipe my computer due to a virus, and all of my editing software was deleted :/

with those bulbs the 2 most common ways are push in and turn to remove or they should just pull out.i dont have an 1125 just offering some ideas.

I just used a little force with needle nose pliars, and the lights came out. Peeled back the sleeve slowly, and removed the light. The i switched em out with amber and know they look great. They were white stock, now they are amber. Love them!
