Anyone know where to get one? Is the master cylinder shared by any other bikes? My parts aren't in that bad of shape but I figure since it's apart I might as well use new parts to rebuild it...

Also what about brake lines? The fittings on mine are ugly from corrosion. Any options out there for other lines, maybe something better? Is there really any improvement by changing a brake line...?

Thanks for any help.

Bump....

Been looking for a MC rebuild kit for an 08 Firebolt. Can't find crap about the 6 piston, only kits for the 1125 8 piston. My front brake is sticking under braking and tends to let loose and grab too fast. I'm afraid it'll put me down.

Are the brake lever and MC the same on the 1125 as the 12r?

I'm guessing it's a MS. It could also be calliper pistons need cleaning and O rings.

I don't have an answer to the compatability question, but I did find a master cylinder rebuild kit for my 2005 xb on american sport bike. It included the piston/plunger, both seals, spring, retaining clip, and dust cover. Works great. I think they also have a caliper rebuild kit too.

I also replaced my brake line with a new old stock one I got off ebay.

Hay, Thanks man! I found both rebuild kits on there site.

Don't know why I couldn't find that earlier. I was searching forums but couldn't find any definitive answers on where to buy a rebuild kit.

Cheers,

Cool [up]

I wish they sold the sight glass though. I had to reuse mine and it looks yellowish instead of clear :(
