Metal Shavings In Tranny

When I changed my fluid trying to get rid of the water gunk I did notice some shavings on the magnet...there weren't a whole lot of them, but enough that I noticed. I would imagine that since the manual mentions removing them but goes no further that it's "normal" or "ok".

Thoughts?

rub it between your fingers. If it feels fairly smooth, like a very find grind, I wouldn't worry about it. If there is anything that catches in between your finger, larger pieces, then it's something to keep an eye on.
