Got another broken one to fix a few weeks ago. It was rattling inside, the tabs were broke off, etc. The only part still in decent shape was the internal crossover, although it was showing signs of wear from rubbing.

The last few that I've done were $300. Apparently they break more than I'd thought they would, but after seeing the welds inside it, I know why they do. Btw, the only reason I even do these is because micron is no longer in business.

Makes me glad I didn't drop $800 on a used one when I had the chance, no matter how good they sound or how much power they make

I know they are still in business.. but would you be interested in repairing a Barker?

Sorry, I do draw the line at companies that are currently in business unless they flat out refuse to honor their work. If you get it in writing that Tim won't fix it, then give me a call. I've only talked to him on the phone once, but I'm pretty sure he'd do you right and fix it.

I wonder why they are out of biz?

From what I can recall, they got caught holding the bag when the entire automotive market tanked hard back in 2008 or so. Might have been earlier, I don't remember for sure. The had a lot of equipment and materials on hand, buyers didn't pay their bills and they went under from having too tight of a margin.

Mine is brand new so I'm hoping to not need your services any time soon, but I'm glad to know you can help if mine starts to show its age. It's only been started once with it on so far, but its going to get run A LOT once I get some education from the Tuniversity!

Run it until it breaks RJ

That's my thoughts. If it breaks, I'll see if you can fix. If its not worth it or if it's just better direction in general, I'll buy one of your pipes and move on from there. Either way I didn't buy my bike or my Micron to just sit and look pretty. Especially for what I paid for the Micron!! I bought them to ride on/with.

onelogue throw that gorgeous exhaust back on there and have fun with it!! :D
