Anyone know of a good cheap motorcycle shipping company that will pick up and drop off from door to door? Relatively cheap?

When I had my Buell shipped, I posted it up on uship.com and the shippers bid on the job. I had a good experience with it.

I used Uship as well and was pleased. It cost me $189 to ship from Los Angeles to Phoenix. Considering airfare was $150, I think the price was reasonable. I did have a bid that was $25 less, but the delivery times were a couple of weeks later.

roger on uship.com figure on getting several bids that all average approx. 50 cents per mile. make sure whomever you choose is insured and/or bonded to do the work.

Alright posted on uship. They suggested 358$. Reasonable I thought for Washington to San Diego.

Seems like I'm late the punch, but I use a motorcycle-specific transporter. They only ship motorcycles. Some of those other independent drivers might strap it onto a trailer and go, whereas a legit motorcycle shipper will bring a custom pallet on wheels and strap it down with lambswool. I'd rather pay $100-$200 to know my bike is safe and isn't just covered by the typical 10-cents per pound insurance coverage. FreightCenter partners with 3 major motorcycle shippers that can ship by air and truck. All are licensed, bonded and provide the safest way to transport your bike. They just shipped my bike to Sturgis from South FL for $595. Arrived on time and in the exact condition it was in when it left the parking lot. Save this link for next time: Motorcycle Shipping

Vicsologil. Look him up. He only ships bikes and shipped my vintage Indian from sw mo to orange co cali for $225. Insured and all that crap. He was out front before I left for work at four am. Delivered to my brothers front door too.

I tried looking up vicsologil but he connected to uship and I can't just contact him. It say get a quote from him but then is just posts it like a bid. But he said he just left Seattle. Which is where I need him to be bummer.

That's the whole process right there. At $0.50 cents a mile on average, the cheaper you want it the more attention you have to have toward shipping dates and route locations.

So freight center has a quote for 484 from terminal to terminal. I would just have to find out where the terminals are. Uship haven't got anything yet. A uship Guy said he could do it for 300. But I don't have the bike yet so he said he won't be there. So that was another miss. I'm gonna try and see about your friend winnetka. I'll keep you posted. Hoping to get my bike down here for $6500 done deal(bike included obviously). But we shall see. Thanks for everyone's input [up]

Price all depends on where it's coming from and where it's going. My lowest offer was 500 because nobody was doing trips through Iowa and it was just out of the way.
