Great video! Just be careful with the tape on the airbox cover. I replaced my old gold airbox stickers with some newer black ones and before I pulled the old stickers off I put the same blue masking tape around 2 edges so I could get the new stickers straight. Worked well, but when I pulled the masking tape off the right side of the cover it put 2 nice sized marks in my airbox. The plastic on the airbox is actually in thin layers, and it looks like the tape pulled off the very top layer in 2 spots. For anyone doing it. I'm cut the masking tape right at the edge of plastic insert on the airbox and not actually letting it stick to the airbox.

Good tip upthemaiden! I was actually using gaffers tape, but I had no idea that masking tape was that harsh. I used it when I was applying my decals and had no problems. Maybe different colors are different?

Good video, You live in Cali? Why store it for the winter, or was it done just for the video?

I need to get Sara's bike up on the stands, I know I don't need to worry about anything on my bike being it is all over the place.[smirk]

Yeah I missed the whole right side of the bike!

It was just done for the video. I poured out the stabilizer and put gas in the bottle, so it was just gas I was pouring into the bike.

Shoot I'm doing 180 miles later today. Heated hand grips FTW

Not sure, the tape I used was blue. I had 4 pieces on my airbox and only 1 caused me problems. Maybe it was softened up from my heating it up to pull off the old decals? If I ever do it again I'll probably just use electrical tape, or maybe stick the tape to my pants once or twice first just to remove some of the stickiness from it.
