Ok, I just want to ask the experts of what aftermarket muffler I should install that will increase the bottom end and not have to be remapped running stock ecm and stock air cleaner. I have read the longer the muffler is is the best for keeping bottom end power, I never take it above 100 so I do not need the top end help, but I would like to increase bottom end if it is possible. I just do not know who makes the best and longest aftermarket for my. 2006 xb12x.

When you change the muffler you shoul remap otherwise the bike will run rich or lean and youll cheat yourself out of the bottom, top, and mid power.

Micron or full dean Adams if you have deep pockets.

Jardine is lightest, I hate them

Hawk & drummer sound really low
Spec opps is I think slightly less refined than those 2.

You should get a tune, even w stock pipe, uly runs much better w race ECM

Build your own long runner exhaust. Front exit and sounds MEAN to say the least...

I had it straigt pipe but it was too loud. So i just added a normal freeflow box and now its perfect. Propably only front exit exhaust on a buell on the globe [cool]

They double as foot rests but they are 5-0dro case sliders found at 5-0dro.com

If you can spend the money on a Micron do it without hesitation... it its just badass and awesome in every way. And like everyone else said remap the ECM because your bike will perform better and smoother altogether

There was one Buell on YouTube that had a two brothers and it sounded mean as hell!

If you just want a nice deep sound and some character, talk to Randy at Hawk Performance. He is an amazing person to deal with and delivers a really nice sounding muffler for a great price. I don't know if he makes any performance gain claims, but is 3 horsepower really worth $600++? That of course is up to you.
