Cool. Ok, so more questions are popping into my head now. Should I replace anything else besides the friction plates and the diaphragm spring? my bike has 38,000 miles on the stock clutch, no slipage yet, but the lever pull has been falling off quicker lately, and I replaced the cable just a little while ago.
I was looking at kits from Energy One, is this a descent company? and obviously I need the clutch compression tool too yes? seems like a dumb question, but I saw a DIY thread on here for pulling the stator, and the guy popped the retaining ring out without ever mentioning the compression tool? Or is the procedure not as similar as i think for pulling the primary sprockets out then replacing the friction plates?
P.S. the bolt holding the front crank sprocket and stator on broke so I'm taking it all apart because i want to check the stator for damage.
