Yup, that's why the rivets don't penetrate to the interior of the glove. They are normally affixed to an outer piece of leather sewn or bonded to the palm of the glove.

Vented boots - best thing ever!!

Going from non vented to vented makes riding a completely different experience. Hell any additional perf leather is better when you're wearing a full suit. I say the more perf and vents the better.

Also - Scorpion helmets, I just replaced my old 700 series with the new R410 series. I loved my 700 - it fit perfect, the new R410 is an excellent replacement.

Especially on track days, which often involve a bit of waiting around, perforations help turn full leathers from a torture device to something almost as comfy as pyjamas...

Favorite, think palmed leather gloves. Saved both of my palms two weeks ago.

Least favorite, Roof Boxer V8 helmet. Love the looks, have the noise it has. It's loud enough that I wear earplugs when I ride.

The rest of my gear changes depending on bike, mood, conditions.... these three are my every day gear and they show some age and use. All excellent and I will buy the exact same to replace when that day comes.
