my bolts new tail

Not 100% finished but u get the idea. Still need to mod/make a passenger seat cover. Heres what i did in a nut shell:

1. Shorten the sub frame about 2 inche
2.Moved the bar and seat latch up a inche
3. Narrowed the rear of the frame about a inch
4. Narrow the rear plastic tell it lined up with the frame, Sectioned about a half inch out the middle, so the plastic came up flat with the frame. Cut the bottom part off the front (the part that matches up with the frame).
5. Cut a good 5 inches off the rear end.
6. New under tail and flat leds lights.
7. Still needs finishing but its rideable

thanks i didnt know how people were going to react. Im going for a cafe/streetfighter look. I need to put turn signals on but havnt found what i want yet. Im looking for some small arrows but i will do small led strips like the brakes lights. Ya ill go take a pic and put it up in a bit. I cut out the pegus logo and put some screening behind it.

Did you drag the under pan through a gravel pit?

Otherwise once it is cleaned up it should look great.

haha ya the licence plate is pretty much destroyed, but the undertail is clear plexi glass, that i used a torch to hit up and bend. Im going to paint it black but just havnt done it yet.

Yes the S tail is awesome but i couldnt find one for ever so, i worked with what i had.

I wish someone would make a clear or red under tail for the R/S tails so one could back light it and use it for blinkers.

If your under tail is clear, I would leave a couple long strips unpainted so you could run lights under it[up]

im thinking about it but then again under tail lights are illagal and thats all i need is to get pulled over. My plate is all ready on the borded line of legal and i drive a little fast at times but oh well.

Undertail lights are illegal??? What about if you run a red undertail, hell semi trucks have about a billion lights so what would a couple on a bike matter?

yup yup. I live in il. I have asked a bunch of cops and got the same answer there illegal but the cop that pulls u over for them is probably being a *******. If im wrong someone please correct me, bcs hell ya im going to run under lights anything to make me be seen!! lol

So from what i have been reading online its legal to have them but illegal to have them on when your moving. I dont think i would get pulled over but u never know. Anyone a cop or know the answer. Are under tail lights legal?
