Well, its not a straight through design. The inlet is a seperate chamber that creates back pressure before it enters the baffles. This helps reduce power loss in top end. This was my prototype, Its a simple alteration to allow the chin to be reinstalled.

What mounting bolts did you use for your plate, the calipers? Do you ever get your bike low enough to scrape the plate?

how difficult was it to make the front frame sliders?

To amswer the last three, I used the caiper bolts to mount the plate. the bike would have to be laid down practically to scrape. I havent had time really to build tails. I need to buy a house and make a work shop The frame sliders weren't very hard. I designed, built,and tested them(lightly). Keeps the frame 3" from the ground, and doesnt allow the bars to hit either.

It bolts to any XB model.
