It's 2006, jardine exhaust and K&N air filter. It has 12k. I'm the 3rd owner. I only rode it for 20 min around the block, cause it was wet after rain. I absolutely loved it, It sound so aggressive but rides very smooth.

Can't wait for spring to come so I can rally take it for a ride.
The only think I need to work on is that after coming to a stop from a second gear i get back fire coming from the exhaust. Is there something like a dynojet or similar or do I need to have it looked at HD dealer.

Sweet. Lots of the folks on here use ECMSpy. I use it on one bike but on the Firebolt I use an EBR Race tuned ECM. Either one of those should get rid of the popping. There a lot of threads on each. The previous owner may not have done anything about that and didn't do a TPS reset. The folks on here can answer any of your questions. There are a few good HD Dealers around but most are headaches judging by some of the comments.

Anyway, welcome to the forum. I'm still relatively new and still learning. The folks here are great.

I have a Jardine on my XB12. There are 2 things that are crucial to getting the deceleration popping noises under control:

1) Check the ECM. If it says "for race use only" on the ECM, it is an EBR ECM. Hopefully it is the right one. If it is an EBR ECM you can mail it to them to have them confirm that you have the right one, or go on good faith that the previous owners had the right ECM installed. If it doesn't say "race use only" on the ECM you can be pretty sure it wasn't tuned properly by the previous owner. You can spring the cash and buy an EBR ECM for your set up. http://www.erikbuellracing.com/store/parts-accessories/fuel-injection.html

2) You must pack the Jardine muffler with the appropriate material, so that it will be able to absorb sounds and deliver maximum power. Pack it with this stuff : http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-prodshow/9080-Packing.html

PADI since '95, it's been awhile since last getting wet...last dive was La Jolla shores down the canyon wall just slightly west of the pier...San Diego:D

to fix my popping I changed the values on the bottom two columns. but with a jardine you will never rid the dieseling in the can.
