My first Buell!!!

Ive been lurking for awhile and with a few failed attemps of buying a XB (LAST MINUTE "I DECIDED I DIDNT WANT TO SELL TEXTS)I finally found one thats BA!!! Picking up my new to me Buell Bolt this coming Wednesday!! Its an 03 XB9R with 1500 miles upgraded suspension, shark skinz track body!! i have wanted one since i moved back to Indiana in 03!!!! I have been working my arse off and I finally deserve one!!! (60 to 70 hours a week [mad]) This forum is pretty sweet by the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just as an aside, and I don't want to ruin your moment, but you probably know its been tracked/raced? Not necessarily a bad thing (as you noted, upgraded suspension, etc.), but it probably has been pushed a bit and you should check out the compression, clutch, transmission, etc.

Like I said, though--I love buying track refugees! Enjoy!! [up]

This will be my first Buell. I have had other bikes in the past and I have rode some older Buells. I sold all of my racing karts and as of now trying to sell one of my bass boats. Just taking up a new hobby!!

The guy said that he built it to go to track days. He said that he did track the bike a couple of times and had it at bike week. The only other miles that were on the bike were from riding around his housing addition.

Well I got it tonight!!! Got it for a lil cheaper price that I was willing to pay. This nike is SUPER clean and well kept. I feel 16 again! HAHA....

87GT - Haha, I had inquired about that bike before I bought mine. He never texted me back... and I ended up with my lightning... but things happen for a reason, and it look like you picked up a good bike.
