Just respect her and the bike she rides. Give her a chance to ride your bike and see if she likes it. if not, you will just have to deal with it and be happy that she rides at all.

Different strokes for different folks. It's what she likes and I wouldn't try to change that. Like said before, be happy she rides with you. I dated a girl that had a Honda Spirit and she would always dog my Buell. I didn't care. Just laughed it off cause she couldn't keep up with me if her life depended on it. Cruisers are nice for the long trips and thats what she was into. I'm more for the fun around town so my bike is perfect for me. Let them ride what they like and don't dog them for it. Keep it friendly competition.

Its not a big of a deal as I made it out to be..Im glad she rides and have fun riding with her..shes great and I love her. we just keep on making fun of eachothers bikes. but we talked and we want to do all riding together, she will get a sportbike..probley faster than mine after we drag race this weekend!
she wants a on /off road to ride with me..way cool she started on dirtbikes.
I will get a cruser ..if I can find one that I like..so far they all are big,heavy,slow, bad brakes, corners like a shopping cart. the victory hammer looks like it has some spotbike goods but the price is nutz $16k! and the yamaha warrior looks ok. no h/d junks! we bolth agreee on that.

The bikes not all that bad, man. A little bulky for my taste. Completely different from what I pictured. Black out the tires, scrap the windshield, lower the seat, ditch half the luggage and Open the pipes a little and it will get some attention.
I told my uncle I would do that with his shadow if he every sold it to me cheap. I'd probably keep the highway bars or at least black them out or something.

Seriously, she rides a cruiser... let it be. There is nothing wrong with riding a cruiser. It could be much much much worse...

My wife calls my bikes "The Donor-cycle" and refuses to look at them directly. She understands that I enjoy my bikes. She would prefer that I got rid of both of them, but she never once tried to change me...

FWIW, I have a cruiser as well as my Cyclone. I take the old Kawi out for a ride now and again....

your not going to get a knee down or anything, but it out-handles any cruiser I have ever tried, hammer included. plus if you get some high compression pistons and a good intake and exhaust you can make 100hp +120lbs! will about rip your arms off at full throttle!

tryed the night rod..it sucked..the warrior is better in every way and 1/2 the price.
we rode 220 miles to the drags this weekend,she striped off her sissy bar,rear seat,bags,and took off her sheild when we got there. she ran a 14.90 and I ran a 11.70 ..nothing beats riding and racing against your girl.
speeds addictive..she now wants a lightning after racing and trying my bike.

I would go Yami Warrior if I were in the market for a cruiser. I like belt drive and 1700cc's! I actually would go for the more traditional styled Warrior model as I like the rim look better than the mag, but to each his own. And good job for your girl trying your out. Especially on the strip!

But its a boulevard bike just like the vrod = good in a straight line

It actually handles great. top notch suspension, just touches hard parts way before a sportbike.I have never seen another cruiser out handle a warrior. I may be biased though...

I tryed to buy a warrior before the buell. yamaha sent a test team to a dragstrip when I was at bike week and they were drag strip testing some performance mods. thats a cruiser I would ride.
I have to get one if my girl is going to get a buell.
